Bunkhouse

In 1999 we turned a section of our 1898 hand hewed, log barn into the Bunkhouse unit. It was the original dwelling on the property where the first owners lived and housed their animals while they built their log home out of trees grown on the property. The log home which is now the Blackburn home dates back to 1906 and was refurbished in the early eighties by Dave and Tammy when they first bought the property. The bunkhouse has 3 double beds, along with a small kitchenette. It is located 50 yards from the river’s edge with river views from the loft area windows. It is definitely the most unique of all our rentals captivating part of the past with the present. It also contains a stereo. The bunkhouse is situated next to the stable area of the barn. Zady and Strider are the names of our two horses.
